This first full month of Spring is also host to Eco Fashion Week and Earth Day and a good time to remind ourselves why sustainability in fashion matters, urgently... mountains of unwanted clothing in our landfills, polluted rivers and streams from chemicals and dyes, critically damaged ecosystems.  Not only does our earth pay the price, but so do the people who sew our clothes and make their livings feeding fashion's insatiable appetite for the latest and greatest.
